Website features, clearly explained
Managed Website Hosting for Small Business
Managed website hosting stores and serves your agreed business website while your monthly plan is active. Your domain is its address. ZippyGlow manages the verified hosting setup, free SSL and defined care; storage and network capacity remain finite and shared.

The business reason
Why this matters.
Knowing who controls the domain, website files and hosting account makes renewals and future changes easier to plan. Website hosting and business email are separate services even when they use the same domain.
Your website foundation
Hosting included with your website
Included with Launch and Local Growth while your monthly plan is active.
- 1 business website
- Hosting included with your active monthly plan
- Website storage: Agreed website files
No fixed GB allowance is currently assigned.
- Monthly bandwidth: Pending confirmation
Allowance unconfirmed; no unmetered claim. Bandwidth terms.
- Existing domain connection
For activated managed static websites. Backups are local; checks run from the hosting server. Other platforms need reviewed scope.
Domain registration and renewal are separate.
| Resource | Included scope or practical limit |
|---|---|
| Website storage | Project-scoped storage for the agreed business pages, optimized images and visitor documents. No dedicated per-site GB allocation or unlimited storage is advertised. Additional media or functionality is reviewed against the agreed scope before it is added. |
| Bandwidth | Normal traffic to the agreed business website uses shared network capacity. No unmetered or unlimited transfer entitlement is currently advertised. Any material upstream transfer restriction or separately priced capacity must be disclosed in the accepted hosting terms; fair usage is not a hidden fixed-GB quota. |
| Visitor uploads | A public file-upload feature is not included in the standard static website. An upload-enabled feature needs a separately agreed application limit. The ZippyGlow agency endpoint has a 10 MiB total request-body ceiling; individual forms can have lower limits. This is not an upload entitlement for client websites. |
| Business mailbox | Not currently included or operational. No mailbox storage or sending allowance is promised. A proposed one-mailbox option needs a selected provider, funded license, published limits and tested delivery before it can be offered. |
| Backups | For activated managed static sites: one archive per UTC day; seven newest daily snapshots retained on the hosting server. These are local, not independent off-site copies. Shared inquiry data has a separate nightly agency database dump with seven snapshots. |
| Material exclusions | General-purpose file storage, device backups, unrelated archives, file-sharing services, bulk-email campaigns and unlimited media libraries are outside normal website hosting. CMS databases, custom applications, off-site backups, large media and paid third-party services require a defined scope. |
How it works
From the feature to the work.
- 01
Connect the address
Use your existing domain with your authorization. Keep registrar ownership and renewal responsibilities documented.
- 02
Serve the site
Configure the agreed static website, HTTPS and inquiry path. Confirm the source directory and public domain before activating care.
- 03
Manage the agreed care
Review hosting, SSL, backup and monitoring evidence. A configured task is not evidence that your own site has been provisioned.
ZippyGlow package scope
What we actually provide.
Hosting for the agreed website and connection of your existing domain are included in Launch and Local Growth while the monthly plan is active, after verified onboarding. This covers business pages, optimized images and visitor documents. Free SSL, renewal management, daily local backups and five-minute website/SSL checks follow the actual package scope. Current automatic care supports managed static sites.
Compare Launch ($599 setup + $49/month) and Local Growth ($999 setup + $99/month).
Questions business owners ask
A few useful answers.
What does unmetered bandwidth mean?
It usually means transfer is not sold as a fixed per-GB bundle, although use can still be measured and upstream restrictions and connection speed still matter. ZippyGlow does not currently advertise an unmetered or unlimited transfer entitlement. See the Hosting Fair Usage Policy for the published scope.
Is website storage unlimited?
No. Storage is finite and shared. Hosting covers the approved website pages and optimized assets; no dedicated per-site GB allocation is currently advertised. General cloud storage, unrelated archives and large media libraries are outside the standard scope.
What happens if my website gets more traffic?
Ordinary growth is not automatically misuse. We investigate available traffic and resource evidence, distinguish genuine visits from bots where possible, and discuss caching, optimization or capacity changes. Any upgrade price requires agreement before charging.
Can I upload large videos?
Large video files are better served by a suitable video host or separately scoped object storage. A public upload feature is not included in the standard static-site package; application limits and provider costs must be agreed separately.
Does hosting include business email?
Not currently. One custom-domain mailbox is a proposed option only after provider selection, funding, storage/sending limits and delivery tests are complete. It is not an active or included service today.
What is the difference between a domain and hosting?
The domain is your address; hosting delivers the website files. Connecting your existing domain is included, but domain registration and renewal are separate.
Does this include WordPress plugin maintenance?
The current automatic care path supports managed static sites. WordPress plugins, databases and platform updates need a reviewed configuration and a separately defined maintenance scope.
Read the hosting fair usage policy for storage, bandwidth, large files and cancellation.
