Custom-Domain Business Email: What to Know
A custom-domain business email address uses your domain, such as hello@example.com. Sending and receiving from that address requires a configured email service; a website domain or email button alone does not create a mailbox.

The business reason
Why this matters.
Owners need to know who hosts messages, how they sign in, what storage and sending limits apply, and who pays the license. These decisions are separate from building a website.
How it works
What a future setup would need.
- 01
Choose the service
Agree the provider, license funding, number of users, storage and sending limits. No provider purchase is part of this page rollout.
- 02
Authorize and configure
A future setup would need domain/DNS authorization, provider-specific MX records and appropriate SPF, DKIM and DMARC configuration.
- 03
Test before promising
Verify incoming and outgoing messages, sender authentication and any form notification route. DNS records alone do not prove end-to-end delivery.
Availability
A separate dependency.
Availability: business mailboxes and form-to-email delivery are not currently included or provisioned in Launch or Local Growth. Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 licenses are separate. This page is educational, not an active mailbox offer.
Compare Launch ($599 setup + $49/month) and Local Growth ($999 setup + $99/month).
Questions business owners ask
A few useful answers.
Is one business mailbox included with my website?
No. Neither current package includes a provisioned mailbox. Website hosting and free SSL do not change that limitation.
Is email forwarding a mailbox?
No. Forwarding routes incoming mail elsewhere; it does not by itself provide storage, sign-in or verified sending from the custom address.
Can the website launch before email is ready?
The website and saved inquiry capture can be scoped independently. Do not advertise an active mailbox or email notification service before provisioning and delivery tests pass.
