Daily Website Backups and Recovery
A website backup is a recoverable copy of the site. For an activated managed static-site agreement, ZippyGlow creates one archive per UTC day and retains the seven newest daily snapshots on the hosting server.

The business reason
Why this matters.
A copy is useful only if it can be restored. Recovery planning should identify what is copied, how long it is retained and what still needs separate protection.
How it works
From the feature to the work.
- 01
Capture
A scheduled cycle archives the reviewed static-site directory once per UTC day. It does not capture every edit as it happens.
- 02
Review and restore
Monthly care includes reviewing backup evidence and a documented restore check. For an incident, identify a suitable snapshot, restore into a review location, verify content and forms, then approve recovery.
- 03
Confirm the boundary
Shared application inquiries have a separate nightly database dump. A CMS database or external service needs its own reviewed backup configuration.
ZippyGlow package scope
What we actually provide.
Daily local static-site backups, seven daily snapshots and backup/restore review are included in both plans once care is activated for the verified site.
Compare Launch ($599 setup + $49/month) and Local Growth ($999 setup + $99/month).
Questions business owners ask
A few useful answers.
Can you restore a deleted page?
A suitable retained snapshot may contain it. The delivery owner must check the backup and scope before restoring; availability is limited by the backup schedule and retention.
Are backups stored off-site?
No off-site backup is currently configured as a package inclusion. The seven daily snapshots are retained on the hosting server.
